Cops who care about Kidz

As career law enforcement officers, it is our strong belief that most police officers enter law enforcement because they have a tremendous desire to protect the citizens of their communities in any number of ways. They go to work each day ready to help people, especially children and the elderly, since they are the most vulnerable.

With that in mind, “Cops Who Care About Kidz” is a grass roots movement by the officers involved with the Boyz of Aloha adventure book series to really make a difference in our children’s lives. Police officers across this great nation have for years made differences in their communities, both in on and off duty capacities. They have taken an oath to protect and serve the citizens in their towns, cities, counties, parishes and states, and for the most part, have fulfilled that oath. We want to build further on that promise.

Our children are this nation’s next generation of leaders. We are well aware that it takes a solid education and parental mentorship to succeed in today’s increasingly complex world. America’s next generation of leaders will need to rise to the challenges they will face. In order to protect the God given freedoms we enjoy, Americans of all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds need to stay vigilant.

Our goal is to reach out and help our country’s children, along with the National Parks, two of our most crowned jewels. To that end we are donating a portion of the proceeds of The Island Treasure Hunt book to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Friends of Haleakala National Park, two extremely worthwhile charities.
